Kuda has been involved in sports ever since he was a young kid. He started his competitive sport journey in a soccer academy while growing up in South Africa which eventually led to him qualifying for the Barcelona Soccer Academy. After moving to Canada in 2014 he began his track career. It did not take Kuda long to make his mark on the Canadian track scene after breaking the provincial high school record running the 200m in 21.83 seconds. After that he ran for team Alberta at the Legion Youth National Meet in the summer of 2014 where her earned himself and individual silver medal in both the 100m and 200m dash. In the 4x100m Kuda helped his team earn the gold medal. After a successful high school career, he made the Canadian World Juniors Team. During his freshman year of university, he ran for the Southwest Oregon Community College on a scholarship decorating himself as a 6-Time All American in 2017. In the fall of 2017 Kuda transferred to the University of Guelph in Ontario where he helped the Griffins win another OUA title in the 60m dash during the indoor track season. In 2019 Kuda and the 4x200m team broke the USport record while also securing a bronze medal in the 60m. Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic Kudas university career was cut short. In 2022 Kuda ran a personal best of 10.53 in the 100m dash at the Azusa Pacific Track Meet in California. Kuda is currently running for Capital City Track Club with hopes of making team Canada in the future. |
